Flyball Instruction

Lakeland Dog Sports, Inc.  Lakeland, FL

Taught with over 12 years of flyball experience, in a group setting where all students help with the training process. Dogs are worked one at a time on the lessons they need and will be separated from the working area when not training, so a portable crate or a secure area in a vehicle is a must.

When the dog is ready for race training, more dogs will be present for the lessons. New dogs are taught in the company of trained dogs to lessen the distractions from the exercises.

All necessary training tools will be furnished except treats and toys. Handlers must try to teach their dogs to tug or have an interest in an object that is not food related, and not a ball.

Classes are at 3pm Sunday in winter -- in hotter weather, class will be later in the evening. 7 week session is $85 paid by pre-registration or at first class. Proof of vaccinations required. Email lakelanddogsport@aol.com

Members of Lakeland Dog Sports race flyball dogs on Florida Flash Flyball teams, http://flyballdogs.com/flash  Students will be able to try out for team positions after their dogs are trained and race ready.

Everyone is required to pick up after their dogs anywhere on the grounds. All persons accompanying a student must remain seated out of the training area at ALL class training times. Registration form
